Awhile ago we took a day trip to the beautiful Santa Barbara.

Pasadena for a quicky

On sunday we made a day trip to the Pasadena flea market where we both scored some sweet deals on christmas gifts for others and for ourselves! haha, Merry Christmas to us. We woke up pretty early to beat the rush and succeeded. We arrived around 7:30ish and heaved our antiques back to the car around 12. On our way back home I stressed the babe out a little, but that's usual stuff. So we stopped and re-energized with a jamba and made our second stop in Santa Barbara! We concluded our busy day with good buys from crossroads(our new favorite store)... overall, a splendid day with my handsome man.

Hearst Castle

We went to Hearst Castle yesterday, and had an amazing time! Our day started out with a sunny bike ride on the Bob Jones Trail to Fat Cats restaurant in Port San Luis, where we sat and ate some good grub. The sun was out, and the fog wasn't to be seen anywhere, it couldn't have gotten any better! After our bike ride we headed to Hearst Castle where we people watched and took a lot of great pictures. On our way back home we stopped at Wood's Humane Society and pet THE cutest dogs, and brought home 6. Ha ha, I wish. Once arriving back home, we went to the beach and soaked up some more sun and took more pictures with the Hassleblad on the beach. So, these are some of the digital pictures we took, and hopefully we'll get the film photos up "soon"

Fight Club

So it seems to be that our Blog is lacking, and since i am currently at school and away from my lovely boyfriend, i will write this blog alone. Anyways, i recently returned to Myspace and found the incredible pictures that Joel took some time ago. They are absolutely amazing in my opinion, so i thought i would share with all of you.. Valentines Day

Alright, we're awful bloggers, hopefully we'll get better. Since valentines day was almost a month ago i figured it was time to do a little updating, maybe get on track again, It's not like anyone reads this though ha. Well, valentines day was amazing, Joel showed up at my door with a red bow tie accompanied by a white collared shirt, and sunflowers(guys..don't get girls roses, cliche). He then gave me a letter that included tickets to Monterey Bay Aquarium! Road trip! The day was amazing, so good to go away and just be with him. He brought his Hassleblad, and we took some pictures, but didn't get to print them all out. So here are the ones we took!

ice skating!

Pasadena ice skating rink! Joel came down to visit me this weekend(Jan 23rd-25th) and we were able to have an eventful weekend that included video games, ice skating, roaming the streets of beautiful downtown Pasadena(shopping), dinner with Emily and Brandon, Snowboarding, and lastly a great big delicious pizookie! It was an amazing weekend, that went by too quickly. For all of you that have long distance relationships, you sure know how difficult it all is, but realize that God is in complete control, we just have to remember that He is doing it all for a reason. Maybe to make the relationship stronger, maybe to bring you individually closer to Him, whatever it may be, trust Him. Also, cherish every second you have with your hunka-hunk boyfriend!
